METHOD OF RECORDING NOISE EMISSION OF MARINE OBJECT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC G01S15/04

Abstract RU 2746342 C1

FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydro acoustics, namely, to the marine object noise emission registration method. According to the invention, the method of detecting noise of a marine object comprises first recording, in a receiving device, an amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) of the noise field of the water space, then it is used for further processing in the signal primary processing unit. Further, during recording of the marine object in the water space in the area of the receiving device arrangement, generating the amplitude-frequency response of the marine object noise signal mixture and the noise interference of the water space (AFC mixture), then AFC of mixture is supplied to input of primary signal processing unit and used for further processing. Principal difference from the prototype is that further AFC of the mixture of the noise signal of the marine object and noise of the noise field of the water space is supplied to the input of an additionally introduced linear Kalman filter. Then, the derived amplitude-frequency characteristic of the marine object noise emission signal is transmitted to the recording device through the amplitude detector, where the AFC of the marine object is recorded. Disclosed method has the following advantages: possibility of obtaining more accurate (correct) noise level data of marine objects. This advantage promotes qualitative decision of tasks on measurement and rationing of sea objects noise level, and also to more probable detection of sea objects.

EFFECT: method of detecting noise emission of a marine object in a wide frequency band, which can be used to record and measure parameters of a primary hydroacoustic field (in particular, hydroacoustic pressure) of a moving marine object.
