FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, particularly, to small arms cartridges designs for hitting various targets. Cartridge of small arms consists of a bullet, a propellant charge and a bottom plug. Bullet is manufactured with increased parameters by mass and length by placing a propellant charge inside the cavity of its tail section. Walls of the tail part of the bullet are two coaxial cylinders that are closely adjacent to each other and have the same screw holes along the axis of symmetry in steps analogous to the trunk cutting step, which do not coincide with each other due to their rotation around the axis. Screw slots on the outer cylinder of the tail part of the bullet impart a rotational motion to the bullet during its flight in the air in the direction that it received when exiting the rifled barrel. Bottom plug with the primer is pressed into the bulge at the end of the tail of the bullet. Thickening provides the displacement of the walls of the tail part of the bullet in the radial direction due to the continuation of the inertial motion at the moment of collision with the obstacle (target destruction).
EFFECT: technical result consists in reducing the parameters of the sleeve to the state of the bottom plug, in increasing the weight, kinetic energy and damaging properties of the bullet, without changing the existing technical shape of small arms.
