FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicle lighting systems. Backlight assembly includes a vehicle cladding panel, an interactive element, an excitation source, a photoluminescent structure and an opaque layer. Interactive element is operatively connected to the cladding panel and includes a light guide body having a front side open through the cladding panel. Excitation source is configured to emit primary radiation for backlighting from the back of the interactive element. Photoluminescent structure is located over the front side and is configured to convert the primary radiation into secondary radiation. Opaque layer partially covers the photoluminescent structure.
EFFECT: improvement in the quality of the general and working illumination of the vehicle is achieved.
