FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to vehicle illumination systems. Vehicle backlight device is made in opening arranged in vehicle panel. Device for illuminating a vehicle comprises a light source and a first photoluminescent portion. Light source is located near the aperture and is configured to emit a first radiation having a first wavelength. First photoluminescent portion is located near the panel substantially within the aperture and is configured to emit a second radiation having a second wavelength in response to receiving the first radiation. In the opening there is a grate made with possibility of extending to the perimeter of the opening formed by the panel. First photoluminescent part is located on the grate.
EFFECT: higher quality of common and working illumination.
