FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a user interface for a vehicle. In the method, the user interface contains a proximity sensor located close to the vehicle panel. Further, the outer layer is located on top of the proximity sensor and is configured to conceal the proximity sensor. Said user interface also comprises a photoluminescent fragment located on the outer layer, wherein the photoluminescent fragment is selectively excited to detect the location of the proximity sensor.
EFFECT: expanding the range of user controls.
