SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, and more particularly to gearboxes or multipliers. Harmonic gear drive contains input and output shafts, multi-row roller chain, housing with teeth, sprocket for engaging with the roller chain rollers, and the waves generator. Chain contains links with hinges, which include rollers. Number of the sprocket teeth is equal to the number of roller chain links. Waves generator is made with two cams, and the sprocket is made as the bilateral sprocket. Waves generator cams and the sprocket crowns are arranged symmetrically relative to the housing teeth. Sprocket crowns teeth are made identical and their vertices are rigidly connected by the bushing.

EFFECT: enabling increase in the loading capacity.
