FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for increasing of the military caterpillar vehicle mobility when forced crossing of water barriers. Method consists in using the translational movement of the tracks and additional devices mounted on the guide wheels of the caterpillar vehicle track.
EFFECT: providing increase in traction, speed of movement and maneuverability of the machine afloat, and also the machine's exit from water is facilitated.
