FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development and production of artillery projectiles. Method consists in that the maximum overload acting on the projectile during the shot is determined by means of the electromechanical devices installed in the projectile. Based on the data on the maximum overload, the initial velocity of the projectile is estimated. This value is compared to the calculated value. Based on the comparison data, the response time is corrected. Possibility of such an operation is due to the fact that the initial velocity of the projectile is directly dependent on the overload that the projectile experienced when fired. Higher the overload, the greater the initial velocity of the projectile. As a parameter of the maximum overload of the projectile, the maximum deformation of the crusher gage is used, which is set in the projectile along its axis of rotation. Gage is placed in the fuse of the projectile. Deformation of the gage is provided by the movement of the movable mass of the metal under the action of an overload and its pressure on the crusher gage. Maximum movement of the mass of the metal in the deformation of the crusher gage under the action of an overload during a shot is measured by the eddy current method.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the method due to the possibility of performing an autonomous operation to correct the response time of the remote device.
