FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to munitions of barrel artillery and can be used in fuses of artillery shells. Method of correcting the trajectory of artillery revolving projectiles consists in determining, using the hardware and computer means installed in the fuse of the projectile according to a predetermined algorithm, the time at which the projectile begins to brake. At that beginning of braking is performed in 2–3 seconds after passage of projectile maximum height fixed by means of devices installed in detonating fuse. Braking is carried out by increasing the area of the projectile in the direction of its motion by pulse rotation of its nose to the surface of the Earth. Pulse jet engine fitted on fuse outer surface is used to create pulse action on projectile. At that, pulse jet engine is switched on at the moment when it is in front of upper point of generatrix of projectile surface in direction of its rotation by 270°.

EFFECT: invention provides correction, which will allow to reduce projectiles range by range.
