SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sealed and heat-insulating tank. The sealed and heat-insulating tank intended for the storage of fluid has an insulating barrier and a sealing barrier located on the inner surface of the insulating barrier. The insulating barrier is located on the support surface holding fastening elements and is held on the support surface with the mentioned fastening elements, the insulating barrier has insulating elements located in a set of parallel rows. The fastening element has clamping element (50, 150) that is installed on the support surface between two insulating elements (30, 130, 230, 1230) of the first of the mentioned parallel rows and that is made with the possibility of movement relatively to the support surface across the mentioned first row between a retracted position, in which clamping element (50, 150) is fully located between two insulating elements (30, 130, 230, 1230) to free up place (99) of location of the second of the mentioned parallel rows, while the second row is located adjacent to the first row, and an extended position, in which the clamping element overlaps the place of location of the second row and interacts with at least one insulating element (129) of the second row to hold mentioned insulating element (29, 129) of the second row on the support surface.
