FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to the chassis of rail vehicles. Chassis for rail vehicles is a frame with wheel sets installed therein, having drive unit (2). Parts of the drive unit (2) are fitted using spring devices (14, 14a) to be resiliently moved transversely in the direction of travel. Spring device (14, 14a) is fixed to housing (19) of wheel set bearing (13).
EFFECT: higher efficiency of using the chassis.
