FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: locomotive rotary bogie 101 comprises frame 102 with two mounted axles, each being equipped with drive units. Mounted axle consists of wheel axle 103 and two wheels 104, 105. Drive unit incorporates motor unit 106 and reduction gear 107 resting on said axle. Every motor unit is elastically pivoted at the main turn point 108 at bogie frame transverse beam 109 and at two points 110, 111 of bogie frame end beam 112. Drive unit has clutch 114 to engage motor unit via reduction gear with mounted axle. Said reduction gear can turn about wheel pair axle but cannot shift there along. Clutch allows relative rotation between motor unit and reduction gear.

EFFECT: reduced oscillation across direction of motion and torsional oscillation about bogie vertical axis.
