FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves receiving radio signals using an antenna array comprising N>2 elements, conversion of received radio signals into high-frequency electrical signals at intermediate frequency and then into digital form, subtraction of corresponding values of measured phase differences from the corrected reference phase differences taking into account the profile of the direction finder, squaring values of the obtained residual errors, summation thereof on all pairs of antenna elements and all frequency subbands, determination of the most probable direction of arrival of the radio signal based on the least sum of squares of residual errors. The device which realises this method also includes a first and a second modem, each connected to a receiving and a transmitting antenna, a block of switches, a fourth memory device, a radio navigator, a harmonic signal generator connected to a transmitting antenna, a control unit, a decoder and a second input adjustment bus.
EFFECT: method for adaptive measurement of spatial parameters of radio-frequency radiation sources and device for realising said method, which ensure high accuracy of measuring spatial parameters of radio signals.
