FIELD: radio, communication.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by additional measuring the angle of space on the radio-frequency source (RFS) and the complete recording of spatial orientation of the aircraft lifting means (ALM). This approach enabled to pass from the "calculation of all possible values of correlation and their use in forming elements of the measurement matrix", each of which corresponds to a specific ultimate binding area, to the approach of "calculation of correlation values for each elementary binding area". The RFS coordinate determining device implementing the method comprises the unit of determining spatial parameters, the first, second, third, fourth and fifth calculators-shapers, the first and second memory units, a radio-navigator, a device of angular orientation, a unit of measurement of primary spatial-information parameters, a synchronizing generator, an estimation unit, a coordinate determining unit, and a display unit interconnected in a certain manner.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of RFS positioning with a slight increase in the span time.
