FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to gaskets for an internal combustion engine valve. Gasket (1) for valve (2) of combustion engine (3), said valve (2) comprising guide member (7) forming a through seat, and stem (8) slidable in said seat. Gasket (1) comprises elastically deformable sealing member (12) having an annular shape about axis (A) and intended to be mounted externally on said valve (2) to cooperate with both said guide member (7) and said stem (8). Support member (13) has an annular shape and is coaxially mounted on at least a portion of said sealing member (12) in such a way that the sealing member is clamped radially between said support member (13) and said valve (2). Said support member (13) comprises first portion (25) for interacting with said sealing member (12) and second positioning part (26) for using said gasket (1) on said engine (3). First (25) and second (26) parts of support member (13) are part of first component (25) and second component (26), respectively, which are components that are separate from each other and are installed coaxially by quick coupling means (27). In the radial direction, second component (26) is positioned at the furthest position relative to first component (25) and forms seat (34) for receiving said first component (25). Second component (26) comprises cylindrical main body (33) forming within it at least one axial support surface for axial end portion (29) of said first component (25), and annular flange (35) protruding radially outward from one end of said main body (33) and intended to be fixed in relation to valve (2). Quick coupling means (27) comprises plurality of locking protrusions (40) disposed on said second component (26) in a non-deformed state extending parallel to said axis (A) and protruding from end edge (37) of main body (33) opposite to flange (35), distributed along an angular position about said axis (A) and elastically bending from first component (25) and thereto for quick coupling to support part (28) of said first component (25).

EFFECT: technical result is reduced total weight, and prevention of undesirable sliding of metallic materials relative to each other during assembly and higher holding force with low loads arising during assembly.
