FIELD: engine engineering, in particular, fuel equipment of internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: injector has a through fuel duct coming out to nozzle. A compression spring acts upon the valve slide moving longitudinally in the direction of valve closing. The first piston positioned on one end of the compression spring, together with the fixed component, determines the boundaries of the first pressure chamber, which communicates with the fuel duct by means of another duct. The boundaries of the second pressure chamber are determined by the first and second pistons. When the first piston under the fuel pressure in the first chamber moves from the extreme position at a minimum volume in the chamber, connection for passage of flow between the two chambers gets open, and pressure is built up in the second chamber. Build-up of pressure in the chambers results in automatic loading of the compression spring. When the nozzle is closed, fuel enclosed in the second chamber, holds the compression spring in loaded condition. EFFECT: enhanced opening pressure at enhanced engine loads. 7 cl, 3 dwg
