SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to the design of folding electronic devices comprising a display on one side thereof and a keyboard on the other side, for example to laptops, cellular telephones, and the like. Electronic device with a display comprises a connector assembly positioned within at least a portion of a recess of the electronic device and engaged with a loop in the assembly of the electronic device, the connector assembly in turn comprising: the first assembly to receive a connector and the second assembly for receiving an identification module that provides association between the user and the electronic device, further comprising a pressing mechanism directed into the recess of the electronic device for selectively engaging a clamping mechanism in order to hold one or more of iron rings. Also disclosed is a second version of said device, further comprising means for electrical contact between the electronic device and the connector assembly, as well as a method for connecting the electronic device assemblies to the display.

EFFECT: present inventions enable to rationally use the working space of a folding electronic device.
