SUBSTANCE: invention relates to configuration of connectors for electronic devices. Connection unit for electronic device comprises housing of computing device, comprising cylindrical section, at that, cylindrical section is at least partially cylindrical; a first metal ring and a second metal ring, wherein the first and second metal rings are aligned with and joined to the cylindrical portion, and wherein first metal ring is located at some point next to second metal ring, relative positions of first and second metal rings define first slot between two rings to provide access to at least some point within diameter of cylindrical section; wheel with multiple teeth, aligned with cylindrical section and located in it, wherein wheel with multiple teeth is located approximately in place of first slot, wheel with multiple teeth receives and engages with one or several teeth external with respect to wheel with multiple teeth.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of compact and easy-to-use connecting unit for electronic device.
