FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing lines for processing oily wastes. Method for separating the oil sludge includes heating and mixing the oil sludge in the presence of a demulsifier to a temperature of 60–90 °C, acoustic processing of oil sludge flow by ultrasonic cavitation device. Oil sludge is exposed to ultrasound in standing wave mode in the range of 20–30 kHz, then at frequencies of 40–100 kHz. Radiators of the ultrasonic cavitation device are configured from the condition of constant area of the live section along the entire length of the channel for the flow of oil sludge inside the device. Time of ultrasonic treatment is regulated depending on the concentration of solid impurities in the oil sludge. Further, the stream is air-bubbled for 30–180 seconds and sludge for 15–60 minutes, followed by oil extraction, water discharge and removal of mechanical impurities.
EFFECT: increased oil sludge separation capacity.
