FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and oil refining industries and can find wide practical application in oil sludge processing. Invention relates to a method of processing oil sludge, including its intake from a barn through a self-cleaning filter using a high-efficiency pump, heating in heat exchanger of tubular or other type up to 40÷60 °C and feeding into apparatus with heated jacket and mixer equipped with water and demulsifier water meters to obtain thermodynamically unstable water-oil system. Demulsifier used is an aqueous suspension of gypsum with concentration of 10 wt. %, and the weight ratio of oil sludge:water:demulsifier before feeding into the hydrodynamic accelerator of fine dispersion is equal to (8÷16):(0.1÷10):(>0÷0.10), followed by separation of colloidal water-oil emulsion into oil, water, water-oil fractions and mechanical impurities on coalescing separator filled with granite crushed stone with particle size of 10÷50 mm, with sludge obtained oil product and removal of excess water from it at dehydration plant.
EFFECT: obtaining an oil product with residual water content of not more than 1 wt %, salts less than 3 mg/l, suitable as a full-value raw material component for oil refineries.
