SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cast product of a composite material with a cured polymeric binder and introduced therein filler particles. Stochastically distributed polyamide fibers (8) are introduced into binder (6), the fibers having a length of 5–20 mm and a diameter of 0.05–0.2 mm, and proportion of fibers (8) is 0.02–0.5 % by weight of the total weight of cast product (1). In this case, the main orientation of fibers (8) is substantially parallel to face (5) of cast product (1), edge zone (9), adjacent to the face side of cast product (1), does not contain fibers, and fibers (8) are distributed only in the remaining volume of the article. Method for producing a cast product is also described.
