SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a container for consumer goods comprising a body and a lid movable relative to the body, and can be used as a container for smoking articles, such as cigarettes. Container for consumer goods comprises a body having an opening for accessing consumer goods, and a lid connected to the body and having the ability to move relative to the body between the closed position, in which the lid covers said opening, and open position in which said opening is not covered. First surface of the lid is adjacent to the first surface of the body when the lid is in the closed position. Structure is provided with micro-suckers to attach the first surface of the lid to the first surface of the body when the lid is in the closed position. Structure with micro-suckers is formed by a layer with micro-suckers, a layer of a polymer film lying below the micro-suckers, and an adhesive layer affixing the structure to the corresponding first surface of the lid or body with micro-suckers.

EFFECT: higher reliability of fixing the lid in the closed position after repeated opening and closing.
