FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of passive radar and can be used in a dynamic radio monitoring system to determine the motion parameters of an air object having a radio-frequency source (RFS) on board. Technical result is achieved by using four sensors, structurally placed on board four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV-sensors), and the possibility to occupy them with different height flight levels in the specified areas of the air patrol, thus providing the possibility, in a differencing distance measuring manner, to determine the location of the air carrier object of the RFS in space, provide compensation for the motion of UAV sensors, determination by the appropriate formulas of the course (αres.), pitch (βres.) and the actual speed (V) of the motion of the airborne object. When using onboard RFS pulse signals with linear frequency modulation (LFM), in addition to completeness, the accuracy of measuring the motion parameters rises due to the use the rate of change of frequency inside the LFM pulse as an informative parameter of the value.
EFFECT: increase in the number (increase in completeness) of the determined motion parameters of the air object on board which the RFS is located: location in space, heading, pitch and actual speed.
