FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining the abrasion resistance of at least one wear layer disposed on a carrier plate. Steps are carried out: recording at least one BIK spectrum of the wear layer located on at least one carrier plate, a) before solidifying at least one wear layer, b) after the at least one wear layer has solidified or c) before solidifying at least one wear layer with and after the support plate using at least one BIK-detector in the wavelength range of 500 nm to 2,500 nm, preferably 700 nm to 2,000 nm, particularly preferably from 900 nm to 1,700 nm; determining the abrasion resistance of at least one wear layer by comparing the BIK spectrum recorded to determine the abrasion resistance of at least one wear layer, with at least one BIK spectrum recorded for at least one reference sample of at least one wear layer with a known abrasion resistance, by multi-parameter data analysis (MDA), wherein at least one BIK spectrum recorded for at least one reference sample with a known abrasion resistance of at least one wear layer is determined in advance a) after solidification of at least one wear layer or b) before and after solidification using the same BIK detector in the wavelength range of 500 nm to 2,500 nm, preferably 700 nm to 2,000 nm, particularly preferably 900 nm to 1,700 nm.
EFFECT: ability to determine or predict with sufficient accuracy the abrasion resistance of the carrier plate (in particular, a composite wood-based plate) provided with a wear-resistant layer.
