SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pant reindeer herding and can be used to improve the profitability of the industry. Method of keeping maral-cubs after weaning includes placing maral-cubs after weaning in gardens with feeding troughs and feeding on the developed rations. Simultaneously with placing maral-cubs in the gardens, females aged over 4.5 years are placed at the ratio of the number of queens: the number of maral-cubs is 1:10…1:15.
EFFECT: invention provides increase in productivity and a decrease in the mortality of maral-cubs, as well as an improvement in the reproductive function of the queens.
