FIELD: hydro acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the underwater situation illumination hydro acoustic means and is intended for installation on a submarine. Submarine hydro acoustic suite noise direction-finding system containing the noise-direction-finding in the mid-frequency range (NDF-MFR) subsystem, which includes main nose receiving antenna, and the low-frequency noise-direction-finding (NDF-LFR) subsystem including flexible extended towed antenna (FETA), in the NDF-LFR subsystem receiving antenna is additionally included made in the form of the located on the main nose antenna sound transparent digital phased array antenna, wherein the introduced receiving antenna consists of sealed in the single structure sonar receivers multi-channel units and pre-processing equipment modules.
EFFECT: technical results from the use of the proposed submarine hydro acoustic suite noise direction-finding system are the survey full sector (360 °) formation with the signal source (target) detection in the LF range, as well as possibility of the target bearing updating, detected in the LF range by the noise-direction-finding subsystem with the FETA in the survey traverse sectors and target detection in the bow angles sector in the LF range without the FETA releasing.
