FIELD: hydroacoustics.
SUBSTANCE: to achieve high reliability of identification between arrays of signal levels of one-third octave frequency bands of the solid part of the spectrum of overlapping frequency ranges of the noise direction-finding modes of the hydroacoustic complex NDF1 and NDF2 correlation coefficient is calculated. By the value of the correlation coefficient, the objects detected in the NDF1 mode and the NDF2 mode are identified as one object, and the class of the object is determined from a set of classification parameters of the NDF1 mode and the NDF2 mode.
EFFECT: invention can be used in classification tasks to increase the reliability of the class of a marine object by increasing the reliability of identification between different noise direction-finding modes of the hydroacoustic complex.
