HYDROACOUSTIC STATION FOR DETECTING SMALL-DIMENSIONAL OBJECTS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01S15/04

Abstract RU 2680673 C1

FIELD: hydro acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydroacoustics and can be used to detect small-scale targets, including those in water areas that need protection against unauthorized penetration. Claimed hydroacoustic station consists of an onboard and immersed parts connected by a load-carrying cable, where a part of the conductors is conductive, and a part is a fiber-optic line. On-board part includes a processing device and a console device. Submersible part includes a cylindrical acoustic antenna, a generator device (GD), a pre-treatment equipment (PTE), a position monitoring unit and a pressure sensor. Antenna consists of two independent antennas – receiving and radiating, made in the form of phased antenna arrays, wherein the receiving antenna is configured to form a static fan of the directional characteristics (DC) in the horizontal plane, and the radiating antenna is made non-directional in the horizontal plane and with the controlled DC in the vertical plane. Structurally immersed part is made in the form of a cylindrical hermetic container closed with removable covers, inside of which are placed GD, PTE, position monitoring unit and pressure sensor, and electroacoustic transducers of receiving and radiating antennas are located on the walls of the container.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of observation and automatic tracking of several targets simultaneously in entire controlled space (360°) in the horizontal plane while reducing the time required to detect and classify targets, and increasing the efficiency of the device, including by optimizing the radiation regime, increasing immunity to electromagnetic interference, monitoring and recording the position of the submerged part.
