SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ultrasonic transducer. Ultrasonic flowmeter comprises: a central passage for flowing a fluid flow intended for measuring, plurality of pairs of ultrasonic transducers, wherein each pair of transducers is configured to form a chordal path through said passage between said transducers, and each of said transducers comprises: a piezoelectric crystal, an epoxy resin, containing impregnations in the form of glass beads that reduce its density, and encasing the piezoelectric crystal, a cylindrical reinforcing cup, built-in the epoxy resin, wherein said cup contains a grid of fibers and surrounding the piezoelectric crystal.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of measurements.
