FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrodeposition of composite coatings; it can be used for the manufacture of a diamond cutting tool with a galvanic bond. The method includes application to a workpiece with preliminary fixed diamonds of the first nickel layer of coating of a nickeling electrolyte of a composition, g/l: nickel sulphate 250-350, nickel chloride 20-40, amino acetic acid 10-30, picolinic acid 1-10, isonicotinic acid 0-3, with cathode current density of 10-50 A/dm2, temperature of 30-55°C, and pH of 2-3.5; application of the second chromium layer of an electrolyte, g/l: chromium-potassium alum 150-300, aluminum sulphate 100-150, sodium fluoride 15-20, sodium oxalate 10-50, with cathode current density of 25-85 A/dm2, temperature of 20-50°C, and pH of 0.8-2.5.
EFFECT: reduction in time of manufacture of a product unit with simultaneous increase in wear resistance of coating of a diamond cutting tool.
