FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the obtaining of polycrystalline garnet-type ferrites. Method comprises the ferrite material synthesis, the preparation of a press powder, the pressing of blanks, the radiation-thermal sintering of preforms by heating them to the sintering temperature 1,350–1,450 °C by irradiating a penetrating beam of fast electrons with aging at a sintering temperature for 30–90 minutes under a continuous electron beam.

EFFECT: quality of the garnet-type ferrite is improved and its performance characteristics are improved.
