FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of polycrystalline magnetically solid anisotropic ferrites and can be used in making barium hexaferrites and strontium hexaferrites with high degree of magnetic texture. Manufacturing of anisotropic hexaferrites of type M includes manufacturing of blanks by pressing of powder in magnetic field with action of ultrasound with frequency of 0.5–2.0 MHz and further sintering of obtained workpieces. During pressing ferritized powder of hexaferrite in the form of nanoparticles with size of 60–140 nm is used, obtained by chemical coprecipitation using polymer and ultrasound action with frequency 10÷25 Hz. Value of magnetic field at pressing makes 6–7 kOe, at that degree of magnetic texture of produced hexagonal ferrites is 89–91 %.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain hexagonal polycrystalline ferric bars of barium and strontium with high degree of magnetic texture using lower magnetic field values.
