FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming by cylindrical shells and sheet materials by means of pulsed magnetic field. Proposed device comprises cylindrical inductor, support plates, annular cartridge, annular projecting elements arranged inside inductor and in cavity between said inductor and annular cartridge to contact elastic medium. On the lower support plate a cylinder is fixed, in the cavity of which and in the cavity between the cylinder and the annular cartridge there are axially movable slides contacting with the elastic medium with spring-loaded puncheons fixed in the puncheon holders.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities of the device due to use of electromagnetic field energy inside and outside the cylindrical inductor.
