FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of corrosion protection and can be used to correct the value of protective potential along the length of pipeline for its effective protection. System contains master and slave stations of cathodic protection with controllable power modules, adjustable safety value setting devices, reference electrodes, remote potential measurement points, communication lines, correction registers, comparison units, load cells of power module, normalizing amplifiers, setters of lower and upper permissible level of protective potential of cathodic protection slave stations and remote points, comparison elements of lower and upper permissible level of protective potential, setters of maximum permissible load level of controlled power module of cathodic protection slave stations, elements of logical addition, setters of potential points of protective potential measurement and potential comparison blocks of master station of cathodic protection.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of gas pipeline protection against corrosion by eliminating self-oscillations of protective potential by monitoring limit values of protective potential at slave stations and remote points of measurement of protective potentials and formation of control actions with inclusion of communication line only for a period of time of fixing output of protective potential beyond established limit values.
