SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection against metals by cathodic protection and can be used for automatic control of protective potential at action of electromagnetic field sources in zone of pipelines. System comprises drive and slave stations of cathodic protection, adjustable protective value setting devices, comparison electrodes, remote potential measurement points, communication lines, correcting adders, comparison units, power module load sensors, normalizing amplifiers, setters of lower and upper tolerable level of protective potential of cathodic protection slave stations and remote points, comparators, setters of maximum allowable level of load, potentials, module of cellular communication receiver over Internet with antenna, memory unit of current position, parameters of movement and type of electric transport in coverage area of master and slave stations of cathodic protection, router, units for fixing and calculating the value of protective potential correction during electromagnetic impacts of electric transport in the area of operation of cathodic protection stations.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection of underground pipeline against corrosion by means of correction of protective potentials of stations of cathode protection depending on position, parameters of movement and types of electric transport located in zone of passage of routes of protected underground pipeline.
