FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: stopper consists of an elastic damping element (1), a clamp (2) with a die (3) and fasteners (4). The damping element (1) is connected at its ends to the weights (5, 6) at points 7, 8. The weights (5, 6) are made in the form of curved rods; the clamp (2) is fixed at one end to the elastic damping element (1), while the other end is connected to the wire (cable or optical line communication cable) (9). Rods (5, 6) are curved for radii R1 and R2 of different curvature, located in such a way that the distance between the points (10, 11) of the weights (5, 6), which are maximum distanced in a horizontal plane, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wire (cable, optical communication cable) (9), is (5÷150) mm. The ratio of the radii of curvature R1 and R2 of the weights (5, 6) is determined within the limits (1.0÷5.0). The weight 5 has a smaller mass compared to the mass of the weight (6), the mass ratio of the weights (5, 6) is within (1.0÷2.0). The ratio of the distance K1 from the clamp (2) to the weight (5) of a smaller mass to the distance K2 from the clamp (2) to the weight of a greater mass is within (1.0÷2.0). The developed device generates a torque to the side opposite the torque generated as a result of the uneven deposition of ice, allowing the wire (rope, cable) to retain its original position, resulting in the reduction of the mass of ice and to reduce the risk of dancing.

EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of stopping ice formation and wire oscillation.
