FIELD: electrical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: reactive power compensator is designed to increase the power factor of consumers, in particular, of alternating current electrified rolling stock with zone-phase voltage regulation. By its outputs the reactive power compensator is in parallel connected to the load circuit from the connected controlled rectifier and the active-inductive circuit and to the source of sinusoidal voltage. It contains the autonomous voltage inverter including the fully controllable power semiconductor switches with back-to-back connected to them power semiconductor valves and a capacitor, autonomous voltage inverter control unit, including the load current sensor, the compensator current sensor, network current setpoint calculating unit, two comparison elements, comparator, NOT logical element, trigger and the pulses generator, as well as the matching inductance choke. Autonomous voltage inverter DC terminals are interconnected by a capacitor, one AC circuit output is the reactive power compensator first output, its other output is connected to the compensator current sensor second output, which first output is connected to the matching inductance choke second output, which first output is the of the reactive power compensator second output. One input of the first comparison element is connected to the load current sensor output, and the other is to the output of the network current setpoint calculation unit, first comparison element output is connected to the second comparison element first input, which second input is connected to the output of the compensator current sensor. Through the series-connected comparator and the logical element NOT the second comparison element output is connected to the trigger information input, which second clock input is connected to the output of the pulses generator, at that, the trigger outputs are connected to the fully controlled power semiconductor switches corresponding control inputs.
EFFECT: technical result consists in a significant reduction in the active power losses and, therefore, in increase in the load power factor.
