FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil and gas processing industry and can be used in processes of degassing liquid sulfur from hydrogen sulphide. Process is a process for the preliminary removal of physically dissolved H2S by centrifuging liquid sulfur in a centrifugal degassing unit followed by decomposition of hydrogen polysulfides to dissolved in liquid sulfur H2S as a result of evacuation of liquid sulfur in the vacuum degassing unit. At the same time, the supply of liquid sulfur to the centrifugal degassing unit is carried out through a jet vacuum pump connected along a vacuum line to a vacuum degassing unit, during operation of which a vacuum is created in the vacuum degassing unit and withdrawal from the block formed by H2S in the process of decomposition of hydrogen polysulfides. Degassed liquid sulfur is then withdrawn from the vacuum degassing unit by displacement with nitrogen gas, and the removed H2S from the centrifugal degassing unit is output by the exhaust fan.

EFFECT: technical result is to intensify the process of degassing liquid sulfur with a residual content of H2S and H2Sx in liquid sulfur, close to absolute zero values, and in reducing the capital and operating costs of the process.
