FIELD: inorganic compounds technology. SUBSTANCE: to remove hydrogen sulfide from sulfur, sprayed gas is passed through liquid sulfur, which moves through at least two sections. Each of them is separated into at least two zones interconnected above and below. One subsection in each section is provided with means for supplying gas in finely sprayed form. Liquid sulfur recycles under the influence of gas and partially overflows into next zone and then into next section. The last one is provided with liquid sulfur discharge means.
