FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of polysulfones intended for use as superconstructive polymeric materials. Process for the preparation of polysulfones consists in reacting a dihalogen compound with a dihydroxy compound in a ratio of 0.15 mole : 0.045–0.105 mole, phenolic red comonomer is added in an amount of 0.015–0.105 mole and 0.165 mole of potassium carbonate. Reaction is carried out in a solvent of dimethylacetamide.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a polysulfone with an increased glass transition temperature.
