FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of materials of anti-frictional and constructional purpose. Method for production polyamide-based composite material comprising the synthesis of polyamide-6 by combining crushed into powder caprolactam with a polymerization catalyst, the introduction of modifying additive upon heating during the synthesis of polyamide-6 and subsequent grinding to a dispersed state. As a catalyst for the polymerization process, a cationic polymerization catalyst, orthophosphoric acid, and the introduction of the modifying additive – oxidized graphite is carried out with heating at a temperature of 245–255 °C for 4 hours. Polymerization is carried out at the following component ratio, mass. %: caprolactam 97.4–98.6, orthophosphoric acid 0.9–1.1, oxidated graphite 0.5–1.5. In addition, before grinding caprolactam into powder, it is recrystallized, followed by isolation from exposure to ultraviolet radiation and moisture until combined with the catalyst of the polymerization process.
EFFECT: introduction into the polyamide matrix of oxidated graphite at the stage of synthesis by the cationic polymerization method results in a thermal expansion of the introduced modifier and its uniform distribution in the composition, as well as an increase in the electrically conductive characteristics, the introduced oxidated graphite provides a reduction in the friction coefficient of the polyamide composition.
