SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle seat having adjustable thigh supports. Vehicle seating assembly comprises a seat base, first and second independent thigh supports pivotally coupled to the seat base, a support rod extending below the first and second independent thigh supports and operably coupled to each of them by a gasket member and a bracket. First and second independent thigh supports are rotatable about a rear pivot pin. Seating assembly also comprises first and second spring members that have an elongated body portion. First and second spring elements bias the first and second independent thigh supports to an elevated position, respectively. Lower sides of both the first independent thigh support and the second independent thigh support have recesses for accommodating the support rod.

EFFECT: providing independent adjustment to the needs of the passenger, simple design.
