For the diagnosis of systems, the change in the current drawn from the battery-alternator system is measured when the fan speed is modified. Deterioration of cooling fans is indicated by a flag when the measured current change is different from the expected change.
EFFECT: effect of loads on the operation of cooling fans is reduced.
