MASSIVE CONTROLLER, SOLID STATE DISK AND DATA RECORDING SOLID STATE DISK CONTROL METHOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G06F9/00

Abstract RU 2661280 C2

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means of controlling a solid state disk for recording data. Inventions provide an array controller including a processor and a communication interface configured to communicate with a solid state disk. Processor receives information about the logical block sent by the solid state disk, where the information about the logical block includes the size of the logical unit and indicating the information of the logical block, and the logical unit includes one or more units. Processor is further configured to send multiple data recording requests to a solid state disk, where each data write request carries target data, each data write request is used to command the SSD to write the target data to the corresponding logical block, the sum of the lengths of the target data carried in several data record requests is equal to the size of the logical block. Logical block can be filled after the SSD writes each part of the target data to the logic block, which can reduce the write gain when the solid state disk performs the garbage collection operation.

EFFECT: increased reliability of data recording.
