METHOD OF GENERATION OF MICROWAVE NOISE OSCILLATIONS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H03B29/00

Abstract RU 2661283 C1

FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in the development of microwave equipment for various purposes, in particular for noise radiolocation, radio vision and medicine. Method of generating microwave noise oscillations in generators on an avalanche-transit diode consists in the fact that in the diode power supply circuit a voltage is set higher than the breakdown voltage and act on it by noise variable low-frequency voltage with the possibility of changing its magnitude and with the width of the spectrum and its boundary upper frequency of at least 3 MHz. Advantage of the proposed method of generation of noise microwave oscillations is that for its implementation, it is not necessary to transfer the ATD to the intense nonlinear regime necessary for nonlinear chaos of oscillations. Generation of microwave noise when using the proposed method is possible even with the starting mode of single-frequency generation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in that with increasing the level of the modulating noise low-frequency voltage, taking into account the quality factor of the generator system, an increase in the width of the microwave signal spectrum is provided.
