FIELD: UHF equipment, possible use for increasing functional capabilities of UHF signal amplifier.
SUBSTANCE: electro-vacuum device of UHF spectrum consists of source of electrons, electro-dynamic system with elements for inlet and outlet of energy and collector with a system of electrodes. Device contains additional electro-dynamic system with element for energy outlet, positioned in collector and equipped with absorbing inserts at inlet, while collector itself is made with possible creation of virtual cathode in its space, and outlet element of additional electro-dynamic system is connected to inlet element of main electro-dynamic system.
EFFECT: creation of UHF device with possible generation of both broadband noise-like signal with spectrum width up to 2 octaves and single-frequency signal with possible adjustment of generation frequency within limits of band while maintaining high amplification parameters, characteristic for running wave lamps.
