FIELD: fire-prevention equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, in particular, to a water cannon. Disclosed dual-range water cannon with remote control includes a base hingedly connected by a rotation unit in a horizontal plane with a rotary channel articulated by a rotation unit at an angle to the horizontal plane with the housing with a retainer, with installed on it spherical rotary channel with barrel, with nozzle and drive of movement. At that, in the hinged joint plane of the body rotation unit located at an angle to the horizontal plane, there are contact stops, one of which is rigidly connected to the base, and second with housing on which spring-loaded retainer is located, fixing housing in one of ball supports located in upper and lower parts of rotary channel through 180°.
EFFECT: wider application of the device on a whole group of barrels with remote control at simultaneous simplification of design due to use of one drive both for horizontal movement, and for transfer of barrel to one of ranges of angle of barrel displacement in vertical plane.
