FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer composites and is intended for the manufacture of heat-shielding coatings for hypersonic aircraft housings. Nanomodified epoxy composite comprising an epoxy resin, a curing agent, an inorganic filler and alumina or zirconium oxide nanoparticles, and/or yttrium oxide as a nanomodifier, wherein as a filler contains a quartz or silica woven fabric, and the nanomodifier is in the form of spheres obtained by the evaporation-condensation method, with the following component ratio, pts.wt.: epoxy resin 100, curing agent 10, filler 60–65, spherical nanoparticles Al2O3, or ZrO2, and/or Y2O3 17–22.
EFFECT: providing nanomodified epoxy composite, which has increased physical and mechanical characteristics and high erosion resistance.
