FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of acute and chronic pain syndrome in the form of rectal suppositories, containing in 100 g of the composition 0.40–8.00 g of nefopam hydrochloride in micronized form and a lipophilic base (up to 100 g); as well as to a process for preparing said composition, according to which the micronized non-ophamate hydrochloride substance is suspended in a molten lipophilic base.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures provision of storage-stable suppositories of analgesic action comparable in effectiveness and duration with such an effect when administered intramuscularly.
