FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical processing of sheet or web material in order to create safety elements intended for use in decorating and protecting against imitation of printed products, for example labels and other mass-produced products. Transparent film web is fed from the unwinder to the flexoprinting section, where the UV curable varnish is applied. Further, the web with the applied varnish enters the UV-embossing section, which contains a form cylinder, on which a matrix with a relief image is fixed. Web enters the UV embossing section with a varnish-coated side. Liquid lacquer takes the form of that relief image that is formed on the matrix. Curing of the varnish is carried out in the UV-embossing section directly on the matrix with a relief image. Thus, in the varnish a relief image from the matrix is fixed. Then the canvas with a relief pattern enters the gravure section. In this section, a reflective layer is applied, which is a dispersion of shiny (for example, metallic) particles in a binder based on an aqueous or solvent medium. Further, the web with applied layers enters the drying section with hot air, as a result of which the coating containing the reflecting particles acquires the ability to shine. Reflective coating formed on the surface of the relief pattern has an optical anisotropy that forms a specific visual perception. Last operation is the operation of flipping the canvas in the section.

EFFECT: it is possible to form on the surface of a relief pattern with a specific visual perception, which makes it possible to use it to decorate or protect against imitation of printed products or other products.
